Yesterday , at my church "Disciples Of Christ Church" , I prepared Giordana's makeup....she was so happy about her wedding with Jose....she prepared each detail with special care...her beautiful dress, the flowers , music...and the most important , their commitment with God , asking Him to be the third part of their marriage! Career Day - John I. Smith Elementary School

Today, I had an oportunity to be at John I. Smith Elementary, at Doral, Fl. Me and many other different professionals were there to visit some classes and talk about our careers. I didn't imagine how fun and interesting would be talking to kids. I visited two classes of 2nd grade and one of 5th grade. I could tell and share with them how I started to understand about my talent since when I was young (like 6, 7 years old!!!). When we think about makeup, we imagine just the girls love it , right? Makeup career have different fields of actuation .... not only at beautiful sides like brides, fashion shows, top models....but scary and weird transformations too! special effects also called FX , is a huge field that many Makeup Artists are being specialized to work for films and movies. Thank you J.I.S. Elementary for the great "welcome" and the oportunity you gave us to be with you this morning!

Bride Makeup Test

This is a bride to be...Mirella Avesani. Her wedding day is scheduled for April 11th, 2009, at 10am. Mirella is preparing all the details for her big day. As I usually do, I offered her a makeup test. Today I met her and we spent time together, and I could know more about her personality, taste, ideas, suggestions and expectations about her wedding. As we went over many details about the wedding cerimony and reception, like: her dress color, flowers, decorations, hair, bridesmaids, groom, family, her skin type, face shape...we decided together the best look for her. I am looking forward to prepare this beautiful bride and her family next month!

Last year I received a phone call from Arlene Avesani, consulting me about makeup for her wedding day. Rosie Hayden, from Coco Plum Women's Club, has referred me to her. Arlene was not the first bride to visit my website. Right after she saw the pictures she decided to do the makeup with me. It is important to me to add as many pictures as I possibly can, so my clients can see the diversity and flexibility of my work, because my goal is enhance natural beauty through artistic makeup.
Yesterday, Feb 27th, finally was her big DAY! I had a privilege to prepare the bride and some of her family. May God bless the new couple in their journey together!

Bridal Show at Doral Park Country Club

Yesterday, once again I had the opportunity to participate in a Bridal Show, this time at Doral Park Country Club , where I got in touch with many brides to be and their families. The wedding field is growing each day, even with many economic problems!! While there, I could see different companies offering everything for weddings and special occasions. As always,I love to talk face to face with my prospective clients, so I can explain better my job, the techniques I use, my ideas and suggestions! Carol and Flavio's Wedding
